Willow Sports to Serve as Exclusive North American Home for 700 Hours of Free, Live 2026 Asian Games Coverage

Beginning September 19, Willow Sports and three dedicated pop-up channels will give U.S. audiences simultaneous access to the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Sept. 15, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Willow Sports, Willow’s free ad-supported streaming channel, today announced it will serve as the exclusive U.S. and Canadian home for approximately 700 hours of live coverage from the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games. Beginning September 19, Willow Sports will dedicate its channel to the Games and launch three temporary pop-up FAST channels, enabling viewers on participating platforms to choose among multiple live events taking place at the same time.

The 20th Asian Games will take place September 19 through October 4 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, bringing together more than 11,000 athletes from 45 countries and regions across 43 sports, 71 disciplines and 469 medal events. The world’s second-largest multi-sport competition, the quadrennial Games will feature athletes representing countries including India, Pakistan, China, Japan and South Korea.

Live coverage is expected to air between approximately 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. ET, corresponding with competition taking place in Japan.

Cricket will be among the featured competitions at the Aichi-Nagoya 2026 Asian Games, with Willow TV and Willow by Cricbuzz serving as the exclusive U.S. home for the men’s and women’s T20 tournaments. India’s men’s and women’s teams enter as defending Asian Games gold medalists after winning their respective competitions in 2023.
